Chapter Four

Devin drummed his fingers on the side of his kitchen table. Lena hadn’t shown up. Every night for the last two weeks, she had come to him late at night for the most heated sex he’d ever experienced. Standing in the doorway of the kitchen, he smiled. His mother had just gotten back from a run in the woods. He could smell the forest on her. Devin sniffed the air. Yes, he actually could smell it. He still didn’t feel his Wolf inside of him, but like his leg, it had to be a good sign that scents were becoming more vivid.
